This was an amazing trail! Even if you only enjoy disc golf a little, this will be a great experience! The scenes of the lake while playing several holes was breathtaking. However, we skipped two holes because we were afraid to overshoot and land in the water! If you live nearby, give it a try! The park office might have some loaner discs if you don't have any. Or a place like Play It Again sports has a great assortment of used discs that are affordable for a starting player.

One of the prettiest courses in the area. Just be prepared to lose a disc or two on a few water carry holes. Tee pads are great, no signage though, but I'm sure that's just around the corner.

Fun course! Great break with the dog on a drive across NC. Awesome stretch of holes between 8 and 11, Amen Corner like in challenge and reward! Highly recommended. The parking lot has garbage and recycling but nothing on the course, so make sure to bring a bag and pack out your trash.

As of Nov 2024, this is a very well kept disc golf course. Nice baskets, well laid out, beautiful, and easy to find tees.

Course was good but there is very little signage as to where the next hole is. I didn't see a par for any hole on the course either. The signs at each hole need to say where the basket is. You have to figure that out for yourself. Other than that, the course was challenging and fun.
